PARIS / Rue Saint-Honore

Just before Christmas and comprehensive holiday fever , we made a trend report directly from Paris this time... SAINT- HONORE street and famous brands shops windows certainly give a clear picture of the trend direction, but you can choose would u follow it up blindly, or not ... I must admit that it is always interesting to see what the great companies have to say about the fashion directions.

Otherwise while we were in Paris, Jelena Kalinic with her brand Lavani Couture was shooting the catalog for upcoming collection, and it was very interesting not because of the fact that Jelena belongs to the group of the top designers in Belgrade , but because of her magical sensibility in her designs.

Ovoga puta neposredno pred Božić i sveobuhvatnu Bozićnu groznicu, napravili smo trend report iz Pariza...ulica SAINT-HONORE i izlozi poznatih brendova svakako da daju jasnu sliku u kom pravcu trend ide, što naravno ne obavezuje slepo praćenje istih...svakako je uvek interesantno pogledati šta velike kuće imaju da kažu i u kom pravcu njihova estetika korača.

Inače u Parizu je i Jelena Kalinić, u ime Lavani Couture-a snimala katalog za predstojeću kolekciju, i moram priznati da je bilo jako zanimljivo. Ono što bih pomenuo jeste da Jelena spada u grupaciju top dizajnera Beograda, i lično mi se jako dopada senzibilitet koji njen brend nudi.

NYC FASHION STATEMENT

5th Avenue, Bloomingdales, Broadway, SoHo are some of the locations that we have the opportunity to see in this post. Our trend-chaser Jasmina Ellmer wanted to present New York, as the number one fashion destination, since it is the main pillar of all developments in the industry at the global level...

Colorful trends with many different textile patterns compensate the lack of complicated forms. Brown, red, ocher, the color of tobacco, and shades of yellow are perhaps the most common of the season, combined with achromatic black-and-white contrasts. Most impressive was the fact that the ‘dress’ is hint of this season, with the fur as an essential element even in minor forms.

The streets of New York are filled with fashion challenges and shop windows are being changed practically every day, how fashion is important is illustrated by perhaps the crucial fact that fashion at this point has the legitimacy like religion itself.

5-ta Avenija, Bloomingdales, Broadway, SoHo su samo neke od lokacija koje imamo prilike da vidimo u ovom postu. Trend-chaser Jasmina Ellmer je želela shodno svom poslu da prikažemo Njujork kao modnu destinaciju broj jedan, obzirom da je u pitanju centralna okosnica industriskog razvoja na svetskom nivou.

Dosta koloritni trend sa sitnim dezenom, koji često nadomešćuje nedostatak komplikovanije forme. Braon, bordo, oker, boja duvana, i nijanse žute su možda najzastupljenije ove sezone, u kombinaciji sa ahromatskim crno-belim kontrastima. Najimpresivniji utisak bio je da ’haljina’ ove sezone zauzima najzastupljenije mesto na odevnoj lestvici, i krzno kao neizostavni element pa makar i u minornim oblicima.

Ulice Njujorka su preplavljene modnim izazovima, a izloge menjaju praktično svaki dan, koliko je moda bitna možda govori činjenica da je gotovo primila legitimnost koliku ima i sama religija.

BRAKING the PATTERNS

I am posting these photos that aren’t all retouched and Maria (the photographer) will be mad at me, but I just can’t resist anymore. This is one of the projects I'm working on, and I dedicate this post to the promo press material, which was prepared for the TV show that goes on Radio Television of  Serbia " U HODU " ... You must agree that Jelena Svetličić (author and editor) is a real poseur, so we tried to present an image that is quite different from the RTS pattern, like she has already done with her show. (Saturday,13.30h, RTS 1)

 Marija ce biti ljuta jer objavljujem fotke koje nisu retuširane, ali sve mi se jako dopada i ne mogu da čekam! Ovo je jedan od projekata na kojem radim, a ovaj post posvećujem promo materijalu koji je rađen za emisiju Radio Televizije Srbije „U HODU“...Složićete se da Jelena Svetličić (autor i urednik) zna dosta dobro da pozira, tako da smo ovim fotkama odstupili od  RTS šabolona, što i ona uspešno i radi svojom emisijom.(Subota, 13.30h, RTS 1)
