SBC - SISTERS and BROTHERS CODE

Sisters and Brothers Code, the Swiss-Serbian design team (Bojana-Vladana-Igor), this time drew attention with the photos of actress Danijela Vranjes, which are very provocative. Their high-contrast sensitivity, now in interaction with design and acting, has an interesting approach to the idea of the licentious life of a rock stars.

PS. I am looking forward to their new fashion video, which they will shoot in Switzerland, with an emphasis on Fine Art Gallery Peyar. I am delighted that the video has become a new way for fashion design expression.
The main actor "Sisters & Brothers Code" film will be Jessica Fabrizi, well-known blogger from  Zurich. A couple of these photos are actually a small preview of these young people ideas, that show fantastic expression and their talent.

Sisters and Brothers Code, švajcarsko-srpski  dizajnerski tim (Bojana-Vladana-Igor), ovoga puta mi je privukao pažnju fotkama  Danijele Vranješ koje odišu provokacijom. Njihov kontrasni senzibilitet ,sada u interakciji dizajna i glume,  ima interesantnu notu u samom pristupu ideji, o raskalašnom životu rock zvezda.

PS. Ono čemu se lično radujem  je modni film koji  snimaju u Švajcarskoj, sa akcentom na  Fine Art Peyar Gallery, a činjenica je da je modni film postao novi dizajnerski izraz izraz.
Glavni akter „Sisters & Brothers Code“ filma  biće Jessica Fabrizi, poznati bloger iz Ciriha, a ovih par fotki su zapravo mali prevju ideje ovih mladih ljudi koji na fatastičan način pristupaju svom talentu.

SISTERS & BROTHERS CODE

Sisters & Brothers Code – Serb/Swiss brand was shooting the promo catalog of the collection 'STYLE SAME' during the summer, which was presented at the 4th Belgrade Alternative Fashion Event (BAFE).

I have to admit that during the entire event I had the chance to see a lot of interesting designs by various authors, and that I was delighted, but this time I want to draw attention at the Sisters & Brothers Code, on their coloristic superior sensitivity and a form that is exempt from all restrictions. It looks like their clothes is telling their own story about the comfort and urbanity.
Fashion show itself was complete, with an interesting clothing approach, without unnecessary abstract forms, but on the other hand it was sufficiently imaginative, yet really ready to wear.

Actress Ljuma Penov with the help of models (Helen Babić, Jana Lojanica, Kristina Turoman, Marko Uzelac, Igor Jagic),presented  this fashion journey with a desire to  slightly link street fashion and elegance.

Sisters & Brothers Code , švajcarsko-srpski brend je ovog leta na ulicama Beograda snimao katalog za svoju kolekciju ’STIL SAME’, koja je prikazana u okviru  IV Belgrade Alternative Fashion Event-a (BAFE). 

Moram da priznam da sam u okviru manifestacije imao prilike da vidim mnogo interesantnih kreacija različitih autora, ali ovoga puta bih se osvrnuo na Sisters & Brothers Code, na njihov koloristički nadmoćan senzibilitet i formu koja je oslobodjena od svih stega. Njihova odeća kao da poručuje da je udobnost i urbanost glavni adut u odevanju, a sama revija bila je kompletna u celini. Interesantan je bio sam pristup odeći, bez želje da se previše udje u apstrakciju, a sa druge strane dovoljno maštovito i spremno za nošenje.

Glumica Ljuma Penov, modeli Helen Babić, Jana Lojanica, Kristina Turoman, Marko Uzelac i Igor Jagić, su  nosioci ovog modnog putovanja, sa željom da ulična moda i elegancija, imaju suptilnu sponu.

BEOGRADSKA NEDELJA UMETNOSTI / BELGRADE WEEK OF ARTS

The group of creative people from Belgrade's University of Arts, two years ago came up with the idea of establishing the Belgrade Week of Arts (BNU), whose main goal was education and development of young promising artists through a series of interactive workshops (where participants could learn and interact with experienced, well-known directors, designers, photographers, and others from the country and the region).
Belgrade Art Week, this time had a goal to present Belgrade on "a different and beautiful way", with the slogan "Color the White City".  A grand opening took place in the Dom Omladine (Belgrade Youth Center), with the YOUNG WALK - fashion show of 14 young designers, that presented their outstanding vision to the Belgrade audience.


Since I was in the expert jury for ‘YOUNG WALK’ fashion show, I am free to point out that Belgrade has a lot of fantastic people that constitute the creative spirit of the city, and I'm proud of the fact that apparently the spirit will never disappear.

The outfits were completely different, and each designer had free style sensibility conveyed in a rather good way. I really enjoyed their creativity, however, it was hard to choose only one designer as the best - this time it was Marko Ivkovc.

Grupa kreativnih ljudi Univerziteta Umetnosti pre dve godine došla je na ideju o osnivanju Beogradske Nedelje Umetnosti, čiji  je glavni cilj edukacija i razvoj mladih perspektivnih umetnika, kroz interaktivne radionice, gde učesnici  imaju priliku da uče na iskustvima  poznatih reditelja, dizajnera, fotografa, ali i drugih afirmisanih umetnika iz zemlje i regiona.

Beogradska Nedelja Umetnosti, ovoga puta imala je cilj da predstavi Beograd na “drugačiji i lepši način”, pod sloganom “Obojimo Beo grad”, a svečano otvaranje bilo je u Domu Omladine, modnom revijom  YOUNG WALK 14 mladih dizajnera,  koji su beogradskoj publici prezentovali  svoje izuzetne  vizije.

Obzirom da sam bio u stručnom žiriju , slobodno mogu da naglasim da je Beograd pun fantastičnih ljudi koji čine kreativni duh ovoga grada, i ponosan sam činjenicom da  po svemu sudeći  taj duh se nikada neće ugasiti.

Modeli su bili potpuno različiti, a svaki dizajner je svoj stilski veoma slobodan senzibilitet  preneo publici na dosta dobar način. Lično sam uživao u ovoj promociji kreativnosti, i jako teško je bilo izdvojiti samo jednog . 


Ovoga puta  tročlani žiri ( Marko Nikolić-direktor modne agencije FOX, Bane Dević-art direktor TLZP, Srdjan Vekić –modni dizaner i stilista Radio Televizije Srbije) je odlučio da to bude  Marko Ivkovć.

SISTERS CODE

During my research of Serbian fashion, I found a very interesting brand that has simple forms, but due to the color it has a lot of dynamic influence on the overall idea. For me, the colors are very important, and it seems that this brand sends a strong colorful message.
I am posting this little review of the previous collection of "Sisters - Code", as an announcement for something completely different at the upcoming fashion show.

"Sisters - Code" is a Swiss fashion brand founded by Bojana and Vladana Veljkovic, and in the cooperation with Igor Jagic they founded "Brothers Code". All of them are preparing the new collection "STILL SAME" and it will be presented at upcoming  IV Belgrade Alternative Fashion Event on May 30 at Mixer House.

Sister Code (by Vladana and Bojana) with the under label Brothers Code (by Igor), was parallel developed as a ready to wear brand, and in this post we can see the promo material for the "Summer Time" collection. The photo shoot was in Phoenix, Arizona with the help of the experts in the field of fashion from that part of the world - Victor Navarro.

Let this be a prelude to the collection that will be soon presented.

The line "STILL SAME" will be based in Belgrade , Zurich and Munich by the end of 2014.

Istraživajući modu u našoj zemlji, otkrio sam jedan jako interesantan brend, koji odiše svedenim formama, ali u koliritu dosta dinamično utiče na celokupnu ideju. Kolorit je za mene jako bitan, a čini mi se da ovaj brend upravo time šalje snažnu poruku. 
Želeo sam da ovim postom napravimo mali osvrt na predhodnu kolekciju "Sisters-Code"-a, kao najavu za nešto potpuno drugačije, na predstojećoj reviji.

"Sisters – Code" je švajcarski modni brend sestara Bojane i Vladane Veljković, koje u timu sa Igorem Jagićem, pripremaju reviju ’STILL SAME’ na IV Belgrade Alternative Fashion Event 30. maja u Mikseru.
Ono sto je interesanto jeste da su svoju ideju pronasli na jugu Francuske, i kako Vladana kaze ’vedro je preneli na svaki komad odece’.

Sister Code(Vladana i Bojana) sa pod label-om Brothers Code(Igor) , se paralelno razvijaju kao jedan ready to wear brend, a u ovom postu gledamo promo materijal za kolekciju ’Summer Time’, koji je uradjen u Feniksu , Arizoni uz pomoć stručnjaka na polju mode koje je Vladana sretala tamo.

Neka  ovo bude uvertira u kolekciju koja će uskoro biti prikazana,a  modna linija "STILL SAME" biće plasirana u Beogradu, Cirihu i Minhenu do kraja 2014.
