GEORGE STYLER

George Styler – the domestic fashion designer who had in a few days over 100 worldwide publications in a different kind of fashion magazines, with special emphasis on British and Italian Vogue, where he was presented as equal as much larger companies such as McQueen, V. WESTWOOD etc.

I know George for a long time and during the time I was fascinated by his unusual play with a different types of cultural elements ... he has always been different, and it seems to me that the eccentricity is the term that we freely could link to his work.

As someone who was recently called ‘the ones to watch’, this season in the UK he was one of the most popular international designers too, and his fashion show was full of fashion editors, bloggers, buyers, fashion expert, but a great deal of attention has caused by a fashion icon, and post - pop sculpture called the PANDEMONIA while she was carrying a plastic dog.

George and I are friends for a really long time and we were free to bring eccentricity to street-wear in Belgrade - which certainly started to change, and young people like George intensely are involved in that (change).

P.S. On the fashion show hair was done by UCHA HAIR-Darko Pandurski and TONY & GUY, and make-up by THE BODY SHOP.

George Styler- domaći dizajner koji je za samo nekoliko dana imao  preko 100 publikacija širom sveta, sa posebnim akcentom na britanski i italijanski VOGUE koji su ga stavili rame uz rame sa velikim kompanijama poput MCQUEEN-a, V.WESTWOOD, itd.

George-a poznajem jako dugo i odvuk me je fascinirala njegova neobična igra različitim elementima kulturološkog tipa …oduvek je bio drugačiji, a čini mi se da je 'ekscentričnost' termin kojim bi smo slobodno mogli da okarakterišemo njegov rad.

Kao neko ko je nedavno proglašen za ‘ones to watch’ i ove sezone u Velikoj Britaniji  bio je jedan od najposećenijih inostranih dizajnera, a na revji su prisustvovali razni modni urednici, blogeri, modni experti,a veliku pažnju izazvala je modna ikona i post-pop skulptura zvana PANDEMONIA koja je sa sobom nosila i plasticnog psa.

Obzirom da je u pitanju moj veliki prijatelj, bili smo slobodni  da ekscentričnost iznesemo na ulice Beograda, koji je svakako počeo dosta da se menja, a mladi ljudi poput George-a intenzivno učestvuju u tome.
